Steve Miller Awesome! Journey Too Loud.
Steve Miller sang all his great songs and delivered an outstanding performance with a great rockin' band. The Steve Miller Band gets 5 stars! The massive loud rockin' guitar and the loud volume made softer classic songs like Open Arms, Lights, and Who's Crying Now sound like cacophonic distorted Heavy Metal Anthems. An Alchemy of Past and Present needs to hire a new sound guy. The Steve Perry replacement singer did a great job if you could hear him over the oppressive lead guitar. Not sure if it was the bands fault, the promoter, the venue, or all of them. Now I'm an old rocker and I like it loud, but An Alchemy of Past and Present sounded distorted. An Alchemy of Past and Present gets a half star and needs to literally get their act together and focus on sound levels.
